Kindergarten
News for the week of October 22nd – 26th
Please dress for red ribbon week if you can- Monday -shirt
backwards, Tuesday – crazy sock day, Wednesday- twin day, Thursday- wear crazy
hats, Friday Spartan Spirit Day!!! Kindergarten will also participate in a
coloring contest for red ribbon week!
We will have our American Diabetes Association walk on Friday
morning, (weather permitting) at the stadium.
We will begin the letter Nn as in nest. Show and tell will be on Thursday. We will also read the story Animal Babies in Grasslands.
In math this week we will learn about the ordinal numbers
first, second, third and fourth. We will
order the numbers 0-10 and identify a missing number. We will identify and sequence the days of the
week and discuss when weekly events occur.
The Halloween parties will be on Wednesday- October 31st. Children should bring their costumes in a bag
with their name on it. They will change
into their costumes after lunch!
Children should not
wear their costumes to school! The
parade will begin at 2:00. Everyone is
welcome!
Picture retakes will be on Tuesday- November 6th. Please return old photos if you weren’t happy
or let me know if you need a form if you are new or were sick!!
We also had a great
time at Miss. Eagen’s farewell party! We
wish her much success in her next placement and she has promised to come back
to visit us! She will be in 4th
grade in our school!
The Ashland Applefest will be held on Saturday- October 20th
from 11-4!
